The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Systems Approaches to Biomedical Science trains future industrial research leaders; first-rate, highly inter-disciplinary scientists who can utilise a systems approach to drive future innovation in the development of novel drugs and therapies for the prevention, diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of disease.
Students receive a tailored training programme in the first year, which prepares them for a 3-year doctoral research project working with one, or more, of the 16 partner organisations:
