The Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Chemical Technologies at the University of Bath will train over 60 science and engineering PhD students, working at the interfaces between chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology and manufacturing. Together with the industrial and international partners, and placing sustainability at the core of research and training, the CDT will solve pressing problems and find new ways to meet the needs of today's society without compromising the future. It will develop new molecules, materials, processes and systems in four platform areas of Energy and Water; Renewable Feedstocks and Biotechnology; Processes and Manufacturing; and Healthcare Technologies.
