The aim of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Sensor Technologies and Applications at the University of Cambridge is to develop future leaders in sensor innovation and to serve identified needs of UK academia and industry. The CDT will achieve this by providing training to outstanding students in topics ranging from physical concepts of sensing, interpreting and managing sensory data, to application-focused sensor development. The programme is closely informed by leading UK industries and brings together infrastructure and expertise from more than 20 departments and 70 investigators.
