Recent developments, both in fundamental mathematics and in applications, establish a strong need for highly-trained and adaptable mathematical analysts. The Centre, established in 2010, offers a wide range of training in analysis and supervision by leading international researchers. Research themes include geometric analysis, partial differential equations, probability, and applied and computational analysis. Reflecting the evolving nature of the field, there will be, from 2014, additional opportunities in non-parametric and high-dimensional statistics and in the mathematics of information. The Centre emphasises the value of teamwork and collaborative research across traditional subject boundaries.
