Working in the UK innovation landscape
Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) has a strong and clear role in the "discovery" and "understanding" of new technologies, materials and approaches. However, pathways to impact will almost invariably require business and may involve other agencies.
EPSRC will work with the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) and our strategic partners within the manufacturing sectors to align strategies and investments, ensure that EPSRC Centres for Innovative Manufacturing and other critical mass investments are actively engaged with business, TSB and European initiatives and, where appropriate, link to the Technology and Innovation Centres.
