EPSRC seeks theme experts for its Strategic Advisory Teams

Supplementary content information

The EPSRC is re-opening its search for applications from industrialists, academics and individuals working in the third sector and government organisations to join the Information and Communications Technology and Research Infrastructure e-Infrastructure Strategic Advisory Teams (SATs).

After consulting the Appointments Assurance Committee, it has been decided that some of the Research Infrastructure and Information and Communications Technology SAT vacancies should be reopened to allow the diversity of applications to be improved. This is part of EPSRC Council’s drive to improve diversity in EPSRC’s advice streams.

We are looking for suitable individuals to guide and advise as theme experts. We seek the widest participation: you can be full-time or part-time, on sabbatical or a career break, academic or researcher, based in academe, industry, the third sector or government organisation. You will not be required to act as a representative of your own organisation but rather as someone with an expert command of a particular theme that is free of bias.

Strategic Advisory Teams provide Theme Leaders at EPSRC with strategic advice to help develop their theme.

For more information, please visit the Vacancies page. The closing date is 29 May 2015.
