Vaccine Manufacturing Call Launch Event
The Department of Health (DH) and EPSRC invite Expressions of Interest (EoI) to attend an information and networking event on vaccine manufacturing research to be held on 30 January 2017 in London, from approximately 12:00-16:00. This one-day event will provide information on the upcoming DH Vaccine Manufacturing Research Hub competition.
The DH will be inviting outline applications for a large-scale, multidisciplinary research centre to focus on the challenges of developing, scaling up and manufacturing vaccines of benefit to and for use in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs). Participants at the event will find out about the call and have opportunities to ask questions.
Due to the multidisciplinary nature of the future Hub, researchers from a range of disciplines relevant to tackling the research challenges in vaccine manufacturing are welcome to submit EoIs. Examples of relevant research backgrounds can include, but are not limited to, manufacturing process and technologies, chemical engineers and those in vaccine development. The event will thus provide a chance to network with other researchers from various academic disciplines.
Those interested in attending are asked to complete the EoI form on this page.
The deadline for submitting an EoI is 23:59 on 12 January 2017. As places are limited, invites to this event are issued on a first come first served basis, with approximately 20 places available. DH and partners reserve the right to issue invites directly to members of the community. All applicants will be informed if they are successful by week beginning 16 January 2017.
As spaces are limited, a maximum of two attendees from a research group will be allowed to attend.
Unfortunately, on this occasion, we are unable to reimburse travel costs.
