Science for a Successful Nation will demonstrate the importance of long term investment in engineering and physical sciences to an invited audience of influential policymakers, business leaders and leading UK academics. It will celebrate 50 years of EPSRC and its predecessors, including the Science Research Council.
The event is by invitation only, at The Royal Society on Monday 02 March, will culminate in a debate addressing the question 'How do we sustain the UK as the globally leading knowledge economy?'
