Establishing the National Quantum Computing Centre Town Meeting
As part of the Industrial Strategy, the Government have committed an additional £315m to the National Quantum Technology Programme (NQTP) in 2018, in recognition of the important role that quantum technologies play in underpinning the four Industrial Strategy Grand Challenges.
The UKRI National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) will enhance the UK’s global leadership, allow it to translate its research strength into innovation and produce the first generation of quantum computers that will enable the UK to create a competitive advantage with new products and services. Acting now will allow us to take advantage of the strength and opportunity we generated through the first phase of the National Quantum Technologies Programme.
We invite people in business, academia and government with an interest in Quantum Computing to attend. The event will provide an opportunity to engage about progress on the NQCC programme, and to network with peers.
Please complete the expression of interest form below to attend. Closing date is Monday 5 August 2019.
Please note the event is likely to oversubscribe and sifting will take expertise and balanced representation of organizations into consideration.
