eFutures Annual Community Event (ACE 2017)
The themes for this year's eFutures Annual Community Event are the EPSRC Cross-ICT Priority areas: Cross-Disciplinarity and Co-Creation and Future Intelligent Technologies.
The event will include presentations from:
- Asen Asenov (Glasgow University)
- Matt Horsnell (ARM)
- Jonny Wray (e-Therapeutics)
covering electronics research from physical layers, through circuit architecture, up to applications.
Three Breakout Sessions will build on the ideas presented by the invited speakers and discuss research opportunities in each area. Sessions will be led by:
- Prof Asen Asenov and Prof Steve Hall
- Matt Horsnell and Prof Steve Furber
- Jonny Wray and Prof Andrew Brown
There will also be a presentation from Sarah Newman (EPSRC) and breakout sessions focussing on Devices to Systems.
This event aims to link participants from a broad electronics research landscape, help researchers identify areas where new research is needed and provide opportunities for getting involved.
This event is free for eFutures members to attend, please visit the eFutures website for further information, to find out how to join the network and to register. eFutures members can also register at the Academic Community Event 2017 website.
