Preparatory access through PRACE
The Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE) announces the opening of preparatory access through PRACE. Preparatory access will allow researchers to test and develop their codes to ensure suitability for the PRACE Tier-0 systems. Initially, a Blue Gene/P supplied by the Gauss Computing Centre and based at Juelich in Germany will be available. In January 2011, a Bullx system supplied by GENCI and based at the CEA in France will be available. This call is open to all UK-based and most European-based academic researchers and will award time on the machine for one year.
