ISCF Manufacturing Made Smarter Research Centres

On behalf of UKRI, EPSRC are offering funding for up to 4-5 Centres with total funding available of up to £20 million.  Expressions of interest are requested for delivering cross-cutting research in the area of Digital Manufacturing.  Research is expected to cover both technological and societal aspects of the digital manufacturing space, and should be driven by industry-identified needs and challenges.  Research should be focused on at least two of the Innovation Themes described below:

  • Smart Connected Factory
  • Connected versatile supply chain
  • Adaptable, flexible manufacturing operations and skills
  • Societal and cultural change - managing the disruptive impact of digital technologies

Applicants must complete the online Expression of Interest via SmartSurvey by 16:00 hours on 23 September 2020 to be eligible for the call; the form can be found further down this webpage.  SmartSurvey is sometimes blocked by privacy browser plug-ins - you will need to enable scripts from to view the form.
