Ji-Seon Kim is Professor of Solid State Physics and Director of the EPSRC-funded Plastic Electronics Centre for Doctoral Training at Imperial College London. She also holds an invited Professorship at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan (since 2019) and at KAIST, South Korea (2009-2014). She has taken up an EPSRC Advanced Research Fellowship and obtained a PhD in Physics at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on the basic science and technology of Soft Electronic Materials for Energy and Bio applications, as well as developing new Nanometrology for these materials.
